Guide for changing springs?

    Hey,

    Is there a guide around for changing the front springs? Reason I ask I want to lower my car 40mm (Spax) but don't want to pay a garage to do it.

    Right, bought the haynes manual the other day, but it says when taking apart the suspension strut i need to replace 3 different nuts.

    Is it essential to change these? Could I get away with putting the old ones back on?

    Should be okay with keeping the same nuts tbh. I have when I changed my entire suspension kit.

    pretty simpl make sure you got some spring clamps

    i would get new bottom ball joint bolts tbh couple of quid

    wishbone ball joints are a bastard to get pressed in, alot of garages wont do it, as they find its more economical to replace the wishbone.
