#3Get the lower profile ones then they dont catch at all
Ask DSH85 he is running 16's mate -
#4Think you might need your arches doing on 16's matey.

#5195/45 tyres will need work, not hard to do covered 11111111111111 times have a search

#6ok, 16s will be fine with 45 tyres but good luck havin ne more than 3 people in the car,
u can get 40 pro tyres and u should be ok but dont lower the car!
if ya looking to lower the car get 15s and go down 40mm -
#7get the profile tyre as 195/40.. no work needed then

#8I currently have 195 / 45 / 16's on my VTS. Its lowered 1 notch at the rear and 45mm at the front. Its fine with 2 people sitting in the front, not sure about the rear as my car is stripped out. Going on how it looks, 1 person would be ok on a flat road, but any more and it would rub, especially going over bumps.
You should be ok if you follow these measurements, but any lower and you'll probably need archwork doing.

#9thank you :-)

#10195/40/16 you will have no problems with any rubbing depending on what offset the new wheels are you may get a veryvery minimal bit on the front on complete full lock if you're lowered 40mm or above.
On the rear im about down 50mm and theres no rubbing issues on these tyres, its still been fine with 2 rear passengers and a suitcase in the boot without any arch mods needed -
#11Dannys is lowered 60 with 195/40/16 on
Full car and it doesnt catch -
#12staying on the subject and instead of making my own thread i was told that 17x7 oz superturismo gt with 205/40/17 tyres would fit on my saxo without any rubbing and i havent lowered my car at all yet but they told me if i lower it it will rub and such so my plan was to just buy the wheels fit them on then get it lowered and arches done at same time at pug performance what u reckon will this work ?
