    how hard isit to change the rear brake pads.


    Never done it before. Needs to be done tonight.

    very simple.

    the only annoying bit is the metal clip that keeps the caliper together. can be a pain in the ass to get back on.

    got mine done for £180 including new handbrake cable

    beat that lol

    although they did stop me fron crashing into a lorry this morning

    skidded about 10 metres

    Make sure,
    one male pad, one female pad to a side.
    remember to put the clips in.

    Wish the guy who sold me my latest Saxo knew this,
    woulda saved me at 70mph without brakes paniccing.

    Easy enough to do. I have done them in rain in the dark with a pocket torch and was done in 25mins. Lost the retaining bar for a while.

    Do one side to completion so you have the other side as a reference if you get stuckl

    Not much help, but I done the front Discs in an hour and 15 minutes with the help for the Haynes manual. I'd give it a 7.

    I forgot to print out the guide lol.

    So did it with just looking at it. Took me about two hours. Plus it fell dark after an hour so couldnt really see much lol.

    all done now.
    Just need to go to MOT station tomora morning and get my cert woop

    the rear brake pads are simple , you can split the caliper by taking out the two bolts that go in the side , that will allow to to do the fannying about with the bar bit on a bench in a shed , then once new pads in , just push piston back into caliper then refit the section back on the the caliper

    20 mins max , and you dont take off the heat sheilds
