Engine advice

   Hi, I'm after a bit of advice. At the minute I've got an open pipercross air filter with the original air feed and I have been thinking that it is maybe time to upgrade to a forced air induction kit which I imagine will be kinder to my engine and despite the loss of the pipercross noise (I think?) the quieter enclosed forced air induction will increase air flow through the engine.
   
   
   
   Above is my engine bay at the moment with the pipercross air filter on (and yes I know that my rocker and manifold covers need a bit of attention!)
   
   How much would a decent enclosed air induction kit be for my furio and what brand do you recommend?

   i think u can gte a raceland 1 from cam racing for around 120quid and from wot i read alot of lads on here use them and highly rate them

   50 pounds off 120!?!
   To be honest the thing that put me off buying an enclosed induction kit straight away was the high prices, the like of halfords and motorworld had the pipercross viper forced air induction kits for about 200 pounds, ended up buying the kit I have now for 85 pounds!! So anything you can recommend that won't break the bank will be well appreciated

   Yeah I've had a quick browse mate but I can't see any good website links to where I can buy online for the likes of raceland as suggested above, that sounds good

   Ok so what is the difference between the raceland induction kit for £65 and £99 on kam-racing? Do I take off the open cone pipercross and have the raceland to simply replace the cone and original air feed?

    I have a very good condition Green enclosed for sale. Thats a very nice noise when you plant the foot, better than an open filter Check my for sale thread.
