help needed...1.4 furio sounds like diesel

   have had my tappets adjusted today as engine is very loud.... but it has not cured the problem...does anyone have any ideas what else it could be....thanks in advance

   yeah very tappy noise an its doing my head in now....could it need new injectors ?

   might be or a camshaft. one off ma old cars was tapping away and ended up being the camshaft.

   yeah it was cany mind how much tho. it was years ago. where did you get the tappets done?

   a mate of mine did em this morning but im wondereing if i should take it to a mechanic i know to have him re do them

   i would just go to a garage and ask them to have a listen. see what there thoughts are. they would know best
