ok i got these interior neons and had tried to connect them to the ciggy lighter for them to have power, it was a pain in the arse to do it so i left it, any other place suck sum power for me lights ?

this is wot im good at mate, either wire it to the back of the ciggy socker (pos and neg, dont see where u went wrong). or you can use the power supply for ur head unit.
in my first fiest and my pug i wired them directly to the car battery (use a fuse!), just find a way from ur engine bay to the interior, bit of a fiddly job but the end product always looks sweet, neons rule.

For the fittings to the ciggy i disconnected it from the back and stripped the wire of the neons so it would go through the holes in connector on the back of the ciggy (if u understood that then great), Just couldnt plug it back together cause the wires where in the way, thats why i couldnt figure out how to do it

use a stanley can trim a little of the insulation over the wires, tap in there and solder, or you can get away wth just insulating tape

decided to get sum connectors (starkies advice) sounds the simplest and just connects to the ciqqy lighter wires

Got to halfords at about 1.05pm today (lunch lasts 1 hour) an asked around for the electronic guy (or sum1 to do with wiring) they were either on their break, or
un-loading a delivery they just had, so i couldnt wait long so i just left without the connectors
Have to go back tomoz an get them
