hey scotty, smithy ses ur the guy in the knnow about coating the
wheels. can i do this at home or will i have to get a garage to do
it? and roughly how much do u think itll cost?

    cheers

i paid £120 for four wheels to be sand blasted, this is bringing the wheels back to bare metal which removes scuff marks, mild kerbing, then they were powder coated in white.

Its not something you cna do yourself as it uses specialist equipment.

But if you wanted to paint them that wouldnt be to hard, sand back a good bit and primer paint and lacquer

if you buy them new they shoudl come wiht all spacers necessary

it depends if you want performance and best hadnlign stick to 15's on 195/45 tyres if you want looks 17's or whatever you think is best

if your getting 16's then get 195/40 tyres they wont rub and will be around same size as 15's so just baout equal performance
  12. #12
dont get 195/45/16's like i did. Pain in the bum!! need to get new tyres now!
    atleast 40's wont rub !
  13. #13
16's on 195/45 tyres, lowered 50mm with 5 people plus luggage sitting on the bump stops, no rubbing here
  14. #14
