cleaning panal k&n filter

    is there any household products u can use 2 clean 1 of these because dont really want 2 buy the filter cleaner ill only need 2 use it once then thats it

    yeah seen them on ebay if u include the p+p in that price which is £13 its the same price at my local halfords but cheers for that

    I found washing my green filter in petrol did the trick (obviously wait for it to dry before putting it back on the car or you will get flash ignition from the heat of the engine which aint good) then spray with the air filter oil and off you go>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    you can clean it by running water through it however you'll need to oil it with a filtration formulation i.e. you cant oil it with 3-in-1 oil or engine oil or vegetable oil.

    when you realise that the filters only work if they have the correct oil on them then £10 for it is a worthy outlay. Just drink 4 less beers on weekend
