sounds like a plan hehe, quite expensive tho
  9. #9
    gti leather ftw
  10. #10
nah it wont b striped, need to keep ICE hidden in boot. u think it wil luk odd wiv buckets un-striped, lukin to smarten the inside up a bit and add some comfort against the joys of bein 50mm lower than standard
  11. #11
in my opinion depends on the look u are going for. if u got a stripped out slag then get buckets. if u drive like a crazy man on steriods then buckets to hold u in. though i think gti seats in good condition win all time. they look classy yet standard. and cheap, if u get buckets and leave ur rears in they wont match unless u get the rear seats retrimmed. most buckets i think arent that nice. expensive ones however in the finest cow with rear seats timmed in a small herd too look amazing and will impress twice as many people. soo since ur being subtle then gti seats (with standard seat belts)???
  12. #12
    the people have spoken lol.

after sitting in buckets sunday day i hated it, was really upset cos ive always wanted some but itjust felt strange.

Disagree Bazza. You can get very comfy reclining road buckets and still keep the rear seats just as long as you get nice ones that match:

    I agree unless you go for this style;

Sometimes a nice set look good but id go for gti leather tbh
  32. #32
They are Sparco Tourino IIs. Just got a single fixed back Corbeau seat in the car now as it's totally stripped out.

    Different styles for you
  33. #33

    very nice
  35. #35
Cobra Daytonas are reclinable and arent too pricey or get some like craigs Tourino's. Can still get comfy fast road buckets mate.
  36. #36
gti leather all the way! i had bucket seat in my corsa and they were very comfy but didnt really go with the back seats. needs to be stripped imo!
  37. #37
106 gti leather/alcantara for me everytime
  38. #38
    do what ive done.

    leather buckets.
    Retrimmed rears.

Check my progress thread for photos
  39. #39
how much it cost to re-trim standard rear seats?
  40. #40
Craig you gotta stop posting that pic of the Torino IIs, makes me wanna cry.

Ad, if you got some blac/alcantara buckets you could get a 106gti leather rear bench to match it, loads of 106's strip there back seats out and just keep the leather front seats
  41. #41
I had my original seats leathered but the front seats are a little tatty now. So I've been looking for a pair of recliners, I don't think the GTI leather would really suit my car, though they do look nice in some of the progress threads I've had a look at fair play
  42. #42
good idea mystic, will see wot pops up, cheers for everyones input.
