Short throw gear shift

  1. #1
Has anyone installed a short throw gear kit onto their saxo ?

Just I was wondering if it made any difference from standard performance. As the standard throw is massive !

    Any help i'll be grateful

£75 is good, Didn't know it was that cheap !
Was looking into the price of a B&M one from work and its quite expensive! I have heard from people that they are well worth it . And I feel that I need one on my saxo as the length of the standard throw is overwhelming!
Not to hard to fit them> Think you hav to remove part of the exhaust to do it, as the linkage is a bit of a pain to get to.

gmc one can be fitted without even getting under the car and is adjustable

is that the thing that makes ur gear stick shorter?

    yes!

could u just saw it off with a hacksaw then put a gear know on the end?

you could if you wanted but your not actually making the throw shorter you are just giving yourself the impression that it is shorter

The gmc one so i hear (i dont have one) is very easy to fit and is completely adjustable. I dont have one or any experience with one so cant really comment further check the gmc website
