Knocking - lowered 40mm

   Had my VTR mk2 lowered 40mm and now there is a knocking from the front left which only seems to happen at slow speed over small bumps... seems to be metal against metal. Any ideas what it might be?

   What size wheels have you got on the car? Could be the arch banging on the wheel.

   I have the exact same post on lol
   I got my car lowered 50 mm on 14"s and its knocking and clunking at the front when i turn going slowly.
   I called the garage and they said if your car makes any noise when lowered check the spring hasn`t jumped out of its mounts!!!!!
   
   Havent checked mine yet

   As I said in the other thread, you'd now, as the car would be grinding all over the place, not just knocking. What size wheels do you have mate?

   Im on 15" VTS rims, its deff not rubbing against the arches cause it sounds like metal against metal.....

   Not the exhaust catching on the heatshield? Was it just springs or a new kit?

   New kit and the bitch of it is the rear isnt down yet as the torsion bar is seized it sounds to be coming from the front left.

   I hope not, it seems to be down near the wheel, had a look but cant see anything obvious. The garage said the power steering pipe didnt need moving and cant find pics on here to see where I should be looking but is deffinatley knocking.
