    hi mate,

new to Saxo ownership so no expert. However I had an Audi with knocking from front and it was the wishbone. Also could be the anti roll bar or just anti roll bar bushes.

is it a repetitive knock, or just a single knock/clunk????

    possible CV boot joint/driveshaft

Off the subject, when you say you have had the back down 2 notches you haven't had it lowered on the splines have you? If so take it back! This is not the way to do it. The torsion bar must be removed and then reinserted when the desired ride height is reached.
