Very annoying

   Yes i know it is annoying for all you who have tried to help me do this but it still aint workin out for me !!

   Yellow+, Black-, the connectors (blue box) are clipped onto the power supply from the ciggy lighter before where the plug (which is the white box) is plugged in.
   
   Arnt gettin any power though!

   those connectors! i fucking HATE those fucking things! they never bloody work or break and they dotn give a good clean connection!

   From memory the thicker of the wires, the yellow, was the negative of the two.
   
   Why dont you ditch those bloody connectors and just strip a bit off of the wires insulation, solder the new wire on, or if you dont have a soldering iron then just wrap the bare wires together and then wrap up in insulating tape

   iv been told by the person i purchased them off that the yellow was positive, i do have a soldering iron will try an do it tomoz but aint promising,
   dont know where i hav put the soldering iron lol
   
   am i on the right tracks though, i have the right wires to get the power from?

   just checked on my car, on mine the purple wire was positive. Worth a check.
   
   get those connectors to fuck! strip a bit off the wires like this:
   
   
   once you have both wires stripped like that and bare ends on your neon wires touch the ends of the neon wires to the stripped parts of the wires (obviously touch both wires at the same time and both to its own wire) if it doesnt light up, swap the neon wires and touch again so that it lights up. Solder or tape in place

   I found wiring to the lighter was not that suitable to be honest. For some reason the earth was not good enough for what I was running off it . But when I attached the earth to a separate metal part of the chassis it all worked, so I didnt use the ciggy lighter in the end!
   Saying that tho, my ciggy lighter hasnt ever worked v well , so could hav been that !
