Remove alternator?

   This is just a quick thread as to wonder how to remove my alternator in my old 1.1sx It's in great condition but just want it out still in that wonderful condition. So that if my new one ever should go I can replace it back over. Much work involved? (been a while since I saw my engine ) What would I be removing with it? What needs to be detached etc.
   I've searched around nothing at all on it so this could help a few members out

   not all are the same, so a 1.1 ewouldnt go on a VT for insance with work.
   
   theyre fairly easy to remove.

   Cheers didnt end up removing it today, gunna remove whole engine block instead makes a bit more sense really.
