Anyone have a list of the gearbox ratios for a 1.4 XSI, and the box number.

Basically, the higher the FD, the more revolutions the engine will have to do for that specific gear. Hence, increasing the FD will restrict the top speed that the car can produce. Does that make sense?
With a stock box, (purely for example purposes) a car might be running at 50 MPH in 2nd gear @ 4000 RPM. If you increased the FD, it then may be doing 5000 RPM in the same gear at 50 MPH.

The 1.4xsi box with a 7800 limiter will give approximately the same speeds in each gear as a VTS box at 7250rpm so quite a good combination for a cammed VTS thats being used on the roads
Not too sure on the codes
