Turbo'ing.

   Well this may have been asked befor but how much rufly does it cost to turbo a vtr? looking at a decent turbo kit on ebay about month ago was going for like 200 was going to buy it but il rather pay more and get a proper set up.
   
   just want a ruff price becouse i only got about 400 at the mo for it
   
   or what sort off things should i look at to get a nice extra bhp?
   
   ive got.. de cat'd with side exit exhaust. forced air induction kit on its way, thinking off a 4-2-1 manifold soon. and polished thottle bodys.
   
   been thinking off cams but nto sure aswel.

   a good set up will cost your thousands mate. also stay away form ebay as youll be slinging it in the bin shortly afterwards.

   As said avoid ebay. Most of what is for sale on there is just junk or more often than not its a conman.

   the stuff on ebay for turbos example turbo chargers and stuff like that is mostly home made stuff and the material is cheap to buy

   Ok, well wont be buying turbo form ebay cheers. been looking at Newman Fast Road Camshafts. any one had/used these and what sort off gain will i be gettin from this?

   vtr= cam
   
   on there own, no a great deal. remap to see best
   
   what you need to do if look to the future and see where you want your car and what you want from it. then take it from there.

    well to do anything half decent on it, your looking at a grand and youll see vts pace. you may have insurance issues though being 17. or get mum and dad to pay
    
    thats manifold, cam, pulley and map.
    what induction you going for?

    Got one off them forced air ones for that from ebay but was onlt 120 same as the one form kam racing.. yeh ive been looking for a manifold for a lil bit but my side exit exhaust is pretty loud ill pm u a little video lol. but i wanna try to keep it quite as possable but still have the nice sound if that mkaes sense lmao.
