messed out grill worries

   im looking to get a phase two vtr and want to mesh the grill myself. Is it an easy job and if so ive heard problems to do with the bonnet release catch just wondering if anyone can help. cheers

   yeah its a relatively simple mod.
   
   THe bonnet relesae catch isnt too much of a problem, u just have to cut a bit of the mesh awauy so you have acsess to it

   alrite cheers mate can you just take the black grill vanes off and then put the mesh behind, leaving the citroen badge in front if you know what i mean.

   U can do that yes. jus get yourself a sharp cutter to cut all the black slats out carefully

   im also tryin to do this, anyone got any pics of what the grille looks like when its finished, im confused as to where to put the hole?

   dont have a pic to hand but from memory up the top just along from where the chevrons are, just big enough to let you get fingers in to unhook the bonnet release

   yep, kind of a 'U' shape cut out , just so you are able to get your fingers in to pull the catch up.
