Colour

    Im trying to find the right spray for my car- its quite dark green, darker than some ive seen. Just wondering if i can get spray from halfords or somehwere...

    I doubt halfords will have that colour in buddy... as they only stock the common colours like wicked red and posi blue..

    If you open your bonnet.. look at the top right of your engine bay, where the top of your suspension is bolted to the car, there should be a code painted on.. take this code to the parts counter at the back of your local halfords and they'll be able to make up the paint for you

    Is it expencive to get the paint made up for me? Can i say how much id like of the paint?

    theres also a 4 digit paint code on the sticker when you open your door
    thats got tyre pressures on
    it'll be 4 letters like this EG. CCDF

    thats just an example.
    a guy at a local paint shop showed me where the code was.

    Personally don't get your paint made up from halfords. It will never match your car properly. Best to get it from a proper body shop. Will cost a little more but your guaranteed it will match

    Lee... that's true.. but i don't think all mk1's have the sticker...

    It costs £10.99 for a 300ml can of paint to be made up... my brother had no problems with the paint colour match...
