pipercross or K and N

   i was just wondering if anyone knows if the K and N 57i is better than the normal pipercross filter or vice versa also is it worth spending extra on the bmc or viper type of filter, also do these kits create as much noise as the open design. Cheers

   it is worth spending the extra to get the BMC or the green enclosed etc... they wont be as loud as the open filters but a hell of a lot more efficient in what they do

   I HAVE A PIPERCROSS, WHICH I THINK IS BETTER THEN A K&N, I SAW A K&N ITS SMALL COMPARED TO PIPERCROSS, WHICH I THINK IS BETTER MADE, BUT ITS UP TO U

   If I had to choose between K&N & Pipercross I would go for the Pipercross but spend the extra and get the enclosed kit, its well worth it

   Don't buy either. Get a BMC or Green enclosed.

   Ive said it before , I'll say it again. Nothing compares to the BMC. Just the right mix of performance and noise!

   Agree with that mate. ive got a bmc enclosed on ma vtr and it rawks.!! Well worth that little bit extra cash.

    Well ive just taken my pipercross off after realising that my standard filter gave me more performance! OK, it wasn't placed in a brilliant place granted!
