I know this going to sound weird, but how much would you be looking at for a RWD conversion on a saxo?

    Cheers

its not on my 1.1 by the way

The most cost effective way would be to put a front wheel drive engine mounted in the rear. Kinda just chop out the back.. weld in mounts and bolt in the subframe / drivetrain and engine. It'll still be a lot of money as its labour intensive.

Given the budget I'd like to do a coilover conversion to the rear of the saxo and remove the torsion bars fit a 2 litre duratec into the front on TBs and have a 220bhp monster.

depends on what you want to do really. A brief consisting of "make it RWD" has too many options to narrow down a price. Plus how much work are you going to do yourself.

ive seen on youtube, as many might have, a RWD saxo, with a vtec engine in the back, if you have seen it, can you put a price on?

£6K for the kit off the top of my head. Can't for the life of me remember if that included an engine. Probably not.

15K for a drive in drive out build
