Throttle Bodies

   Hi
   
   was just wondering, is it vital that u need a standalone ecu or remap when putting bike throttle bodies on as im only after the sound not worried bout the power gain yet anyway.

   If you use bike carbs you can use a basic ECU to just control the ignition map. That is probably the cheapest way to do it as the carbs will control the fueling.
   
   Running TBs would definately be a bad idea if you don't run the correct fuel / ignition maps. Best case would be running poor. Worst case one dead engine

   If you dont have it setup properly it will run like a bag of wank..
   
   Also as said above, it will damage your engine..

   yes mate it is vital, have a look at cupra-craig's old progress thread for his 106 git, he spend over 6k alone on the engine

   do it properly or dont do it. nothing is cheap
