because most garages have muppets workin in them

they dont want the hassle as they seize etc

There are stacks of garages around here who will happily do torsion bars, funny why some won't. Incompitent arseholes I reckon.

i asked my mechanic why he didnt want to do mine, his reason was, " torsion bars tend to seize up no matter what the age of the car so i dont touch them as the cost can be quite high in labour let alone if they need any new parts or if we damage it"

I think it just comes down to garages not being arsed knowing full well the amount of hours it takes to touch your torsion they can earn so much more through MOTS etc

most just afraid of a challenge, also afraid of spending the time to set it perfect. me and my bro done mine in an hour tops, but then again he's a mechanic.
