Worth doing ? and Request

Right i want quite a few things spraying black on my car so i was wondering if its worth getting a bodyshop to do the following:

Spray inserts on mk2 lights black
Spray a fuel cap from citreon black
    Spray rear two badges black
Spray the front grill inc chevrons black
And to sort the deep scratch i have on my bonnet.

Would this be worth all getting done as i dont really have the skills or time to do it.

Any pictures of this done on a black mk2 vtr/s.

look at Damo's VTS for the pictures wanted. You could have a bodyshop do it but not sure its worth it myself

i'm sure a body shop will do it defintely

At least if a body shop does it you can get it how you want it. Its all possible though

i dont its possible but would the bodyshop do little things like this.

    definally not doing it myself.

would rather buy all seperate like smoked lights and a alredy sprayed grill, but thats just too much hassle and would rather get bodyshop to do it, any idea on price or any pics.

Ask Kev999_VTR he has blacked the headlights, blacked the grille, t-cut the badges so they're black. Looks great imo mate. Well worth doing!

Oh and don't bother spraying the badges just T-Cut them, they go black. Very simple to do yourself mate.

    Cheers

I would personally do it myself. A bodyshop will charge you a stupid amount for those little bits doing that you could do yourself in a few days.

The only bit I wouldn't attempt is the bonnet - might get away with fitting the grill for the spray

I did my rear badges black before going debadged:

a lot of you have a lot more experience than me though, and i dont wanna fuck things up, yeah ill prb just t-cut the back badges myself, but im definally not doing the lights, and im gonna end up buying all the stuff ready done, and it will just give me two of everything and 150 quid down. thats why ive asked is it worth it to get everything done at once.

that's what i want my back end to look like, but im not gonna de-wiper until next year now the bad weather is back.

if you've got money to burn throw it into a bodyshop, sure theyl do it all for you.

I felt the same about doing my lights myself... Ended up buying then already done... Think I'll attempt to smoke the fogs myself sometime soon though...
