Best Brake Caliper Paint?

    I want to paint my brake calipers white and was just wondering whats the best heatproof paint i can get for my money?

    Just Hammerite, it lasts ages, iv had mine down for like a year still looks good

    You can get away with just using regualr paint on the calipers, the discs & pads can get very hot but it would take alot of effort to heat the caliper to the point where the paint bubbles

    Im spraying mine atm (well over the past 2 days) Will be finished tomorrow

    i painted mine with engine laquer before and the paint bubbled up and looks shit

    I have used Halfords' brake caliper paint on mine. People have seen my calipers in my progress thread and think they look good. I haven't had any issues at all...

    Hammerite is the best stuff you can use. It's meant for metal gates etc so is very durable. It will never bubble unless you blowtorch your capliers

    I used hammerite too..

    My whole car is hammerited actually..

    exactly I don't know why it isn't sold for doing the capliers as it's alot thicker than aerosol based paints which chip very easily

    hammerite im about to use on my ped calipers (fronts and rears) called smooth red

    Yeah exactly..

    I used smooth black for the brake calipers, then smooth white for the underside (spare wheel area) and for the interior..

    Proper track slag tbh..:d

    using hammerite smooth black on my calipers before they go on.
