every time i check under the bonet, the small pipe is hanging out the side!
any recommendations to keep in it, or to change it for some thing else?

jubilee or hose clip should do the job mate.
only pennies down any car spares shop.

its on a VTS, the pipe goes in to a hole on the side, so you cant put a clip round the pipe as the pipe is pushed inside!
its the metal right angle 1 that goes to the engine!

yeah, use a little jubile or hose clip.
should do the job nicely.

cant use a clip as it has to be pushed in?

Get a pair of pliers, and oval the pipe VERY slightly. Wedge it in and it wont come out again.

I tried the oval thing on mine and it eventually popped out again, now it's wedged in with a small amount of silver foil and that has stayed put for over a year now.

I had the same problem with mine and i just cut the breather pipe down a little bit and it has stopped it from coming out.
