wierd noise

   hi there can anyone help ive got a wierd noise somwething to do with the wheels or the drive shaft i just dont know
   
   a while ago the clip broke on my cv boot an the grease went everywere ive repact it an put a jublee clip onbut if idrive along way say on the motorway once i take my foot of the accelerator or drop my clutch it makes a noise like rubbing or whinning noise it is if somthing is hot because once ive stoped even for 5 mins its fine.
   
   its cracking me up

   i had exactly the same problem a few months ago i found it to be that my cv boot was hanging off and had loads of debris on the "UJ". did you make sure it was all clean out before you repacted it there may be some road dirt binding in there somewhere.

   that noise when u take off your foot off the accelerator or in with the clutch will be the ball joint again with no grease

   yeah thought so it all so happens now an again when it pissing down an there is loads of water on the road saying that it hasnt happend the last few times nice one anyway thanks
