induction kit for a noob :)

    howdy everyone, im a bit of a car noob, iv never changed anything in my engine, can barely change a tyre!anyways im after a induction kit for around £100. iv read the induction kit thread and theres soo much choice. i need one thats easy enough to fit, im not too fussed about the noise it makes, more interested in the performance gains. anyone recommend any? cheers guys

    raceland induction kit with green filter or bmc are your best bet you can get them from kamracing here's the link www.kam-racing.com

    this is the one i would get good performance gains on these

    TBH you wont see that much performance gain, but as above, for your budget a raceland will do nicely

    your not going to notice any gain on just an induction kit just sound mainly on any induction kit

    cheers everyone are the racelands easy enough to fit? also is it worth paying the extra to get it with an green filter?cheers

    The VTR designed one is easyier to fit, the one for the VTS takes a bit of playing around. Yes it is worth upgrading to the Green filter.

    id go for the raceland too with the green filter, bang on your budget !

    cheers everyone however i have just spotted a pipercross induction for £35 buy it now on ebay!i emailed the seller and they said its off a 2002 model but they think it fits both black and silver rocker covers, can anyone confirm this?cheers

    is it a black foam open filter one?

    i've got that one at home, just gives you sound no performance gains at all don't use it anymore prefer the standard one.
