    competition cam belts are not about the profile of the cam.. they're stronger to cope with harsher environments.

    genuine vts citroen cambelt is £38, tensioner & idler is £62, not sure on piper prices but should list them on there site

    when doing cams, and putting a new cam belt on, do you need to get a new tensioner and idler?

    You dont have to as obviously u can inspect them an if there is no play in them then u could resuse them but its best if they are replaced if just for peice of mind, when citroen do a cambelt service they allways replace them. Also sometimes its worth replacing the water pump as its only £35 from citroen and while all that side of the engine is in bits you dont have to take anything extra off to replace it apart from the 2 bolts holding the pump itself on and if the cars done high millage its probs worth doing

    im sure i got mine cheaper than that ste

    someone pm williams as he changed his when he fitted cams, sure it was about £20

    sean google piper. oh look kam racing have them lol, what a coincedence £41

    also look on ebay. i used to see them all the time on there. but as said pm williams see what he did as you dont need a compition cam belt unless going wild. 708s are fine without

    std PSA belts are perfectly fine even on high revving cammed set ups

    £41 for the Piper. Although on the large majourty of cars the o/e cam belt will be fine.

    what rest of kit? lol

    water pump as steve said depends on millage and that. i didnt change anything else, just cam belt and some nice red piper pulleys
