Black Diamond Brakes

   hi guys i have just bought and had fitted black diamond discs and pads all round and car brakes like a pile of dump atm and the calipers r ok do u think it will need bleeding ? me and my bro r gonna do it anyway.... but i know it needs to be worn a bit the brakes that is but ive never bled them so im gonna do that may as well just wandering your views on this thanks

   does the pedal have a lot of travel when you brake?? have you had the calipers off the car at any point??

   yes to put the pads and discs on but i think the original pads and discs braked better then these do atm maybe due to them being brand new and needing bleeding ? i dont really no lol not to sure on brakes

   Bleed them any way mate to make sure it dont take that long and remember the brakes are brand new so need run in a little so dont be driving to fast until you have the brakes working at there best lol!!!

   hehe thanks yea iwas trying to test them out and wear em down a bit but i think going 100ish is a bad idea since i cant actually brake to well

   Yeah I know trhe feeling i HAVE A SET OF GTI 180 calipers discs and pads on mine and these are meant to improve braking but it they do I aint noticed it much and these are run in now too!!!!!!!!!!!

   The black diamond take a while to bed in. You should see the difference with them in about 50-100 miles of use.
