right ive found some pug 206 nimrods, that ive fallen in love with,
but i hear u gotta have spacers, which is putting me off abit due to the price!

just wondering if i put 40 profile tyres on will i still need the spacers,

ive read thread after thread about this and im total confused what to do,

should i save my money, or what please help!!!!

thought they were direct fitment O.o

    nah there different offset!
  4. #4
If the offset is different then yeh you will need spacers for sure. What is the 206 offset?
  5. #5
Basically the offset is how close the wheel is to the hub, so if the offset is higher it will be closer. A saxo's offset is anything between ET15-18.
So for an ET38 you would need 20mm spacers

how big will the spacers have to be,

and ive read some bad things about spacers can people put my mind to rest, or should i forget about the nimrods?

tbh i think they are the same offsets as saxo - people usually put spacers on to fill the arches better. there is nothing wrong with using spacers really - i have them and have had no probs.

you might need 20mm spacers to fit nimrods

206 is ET26. 10mm spacers will clear all, you might even get away with 5mm. I ran 20mm spacers for 2 years and had no troubles

will they be any good or will they push the wheels out to much?

and could i get away with profile 45? or are they going to course rubbing?

a saxo is a 20 offset, a pug 206 is 28, so about 8 mm difference, just get a set of 10mm spacers and it should be ok.
