red sidelights

   does anyone know if red sidelights are legal?? coz i got them on my car now

   depends what you mean by sidelights, if you mean the side repeaters are red but flash amber then they should be ok.
   
   red lights are only allowed on the rear and white lights on the front. all indicators must flash amber. if not then they will be illegal

   i mean the side lights where you turn the lights on, if u know what i mean, i made them myself a little while ago, just gota red spray can and sprayed over my original bulbs, look alright they do for free

   they are not legal but cant really tell when you have your normal beams on, with just the sidelights on then the colour is blatant and can be a puller (illegal)

   yea red sidelights are illegal... blue is fine but red is illegal... as i was going to get red halos for my angel eyes for my car but yunno illegal...

   I would not use any colour in the sidelights except for white. Any colour is classed as illegal.

   i normally only use sidelights wen i am parked up, use my normal beems most of the time, how can blue not be illegal as it is inpersonating emergency services??

    Can't say that i have ever heard of smoked front sidelight bulbs. Only heard of green, red, blue etc.

    You can get ones that cycle through about 10 colours one after the other too

    oh and i got pulled with my normal beam on and not very bright sidelights. and driving round a corner like a twat
