rear wiper arm!!!

   Anyone know how to remove reaer wiper arm on a mk1,without smashin back window.
   lifted plastic cap,removed nut. soaked spindle in gt85(wd40)but wont budge.
   got a mk2 one to put on but carnt get old one off!

   if it was a show car i would jus give it the chop but for practicality and looks i wanted to put a mk2 on!

   i had a puller from halfords, worst £12 iv ever spent.
   
   just cut it off mate, but be carefull not to damage the motor spindle.
   
   (oh and i havnt missed my back wiper at all so i dont think practicality is an issue )

   It actually is just a puller. It's a mechanism which you attach to the wiper and pull, and it should come off.... I tried mole grips on mine and it didn't work, so that's why I got the saw out....! Could always buy one and take it back

   take the wiper off from the outside. Open the boot... take the big black pastic thing off which is if held on by poppers and probably some torx and remove the wiper mechanism.. last fill the home in the window with a grommet... easy as that

    yea u mite need a wiper puller to get it off. it will probably be seezed coz they use 2 differant types of metal in the piper and on the motor dont ask y...
