Streamline Carbon Fibre Doorcards now available for Saxo/106

  1. #1
As above, I provided my old ones to make a mould and I picked up my new set off mervin last week. Whereas the old type I bought from Motodrive were a wet lay up carbon sheet, these are autoclaved which basically creates a much better finish-perfect in fact as you'll see in the pics. These are now available to buy, and are £250 a set. The price reflects the quailty and time to make them, but you will not look back-they are MINT! I've yet to fit mine so will get more pics in due time. They look slightly curved in the pics as they flex during the manufacture due to the heat, but they are extremely flexible and also thinner and more manageable than the previous ones, so fit perfect. If anyone is keen on getting a set give me a text on 07909975967,
    Thanks
    Lewis

Yea well you get what you pay for mate tbh. People don't realise how long it takes to make these, and how much they cost to make. Anyway, these are available to buy so you know where to get 'em should you wish! They locked the thread on ssc because they are fucking cunts...makes me wonder why I bother telling people about new products sometimes....

One thing just occured to me; the full door cards that were produced for a short while (original style/fuul door) were only 300 notes a pair. Can't remember who made them but I remember looking for a pair a while ago
  15. #15
where else can you get the carbon door cards? cos i know they are cheaper than this.
  16. #16
There was a guy on SSC who was doing them for £90 i think, not sure if he still did, but the quality looks alot better on these!

These are the ones that me and Bic have had made. We basically help out streamline and work alongside them to create new stuff, and improve the existing stuff. My old one's from TMS (Motordrive) cost me £230 delivered, and although I appreciate that £250 is a fair wedge, the quality is second to none. They are thinner and the manufacturing process has created a much tidier final product. That's not to say the old one's I had weren't good, but these are much better
They weigh fuck all too. I guess it depends how far you go with your car. Some people are happy to save up and get the best they can afford, whereas for other people money is an issue so they tend to go for cheaper alternatives. Nowt wrong with either choice, but in my opinion if you save a little harder you can create a better final piece, whether it be a show car or a mint track slag you're building.

we do the full door cards but they're 500 sheets, the same as they used to be when pro comp did them. I had some ages ago but prefer the flat ones.

Ooh, have you still got some full cards? Discount?
  27. #27
    when you say full ones?

are they like standard ones but made from carbon fibre?

cos i hate flat one cos there not where to rest ur arm. plus no little hole to put ur mobile in.

genuine Saxo door cards, which are made up of 3 parts, can be supplied not a problem. they are now produced in 2x2 twill weave carbon fibre and autoclave cured and have such a high gloss glass like finish they really are second to none in terms of finish. £495 for a pair of cards, these are currently in stock, i will have pictures of them tomorrow form the workshop.

Saxo 180 - As above, yes ful cards available, there is honestly nocomparison, even i prefer them to flat sheets for minimslism, lol. Pics tomorrow guys

    Thanks
