De-badging

  1. #1
I'm gonna be de-badging the boot in the very near future. From wot i can see the badges are just held on by some kind of adhesive pad.

is this right or are there some holes that will need filling afterwards ??

I havn't actually de-badged my saxo but i know for sure that there is holes that need filling behind the badges.

i wouldn't fancy taking badges off to discover a nice bunch of holes on the body work like!! maybe a pro could do it?

does any1 know how much it would cost?

once again , depends on what bodyshop you go to, can vary from £20 for a shite job , to poss £100 just to remove smooth and spray holes for a good job.

thats not too bad..isn't too dear for a pro doing it!
  11. #11
no, its not an overly big job , just need to be able to weld properly and then get the colour matched up properly when spraying
  12. #12
just get the whole boot flushed!if u'd pay a £100 4 de-badging then pay an extra £100 and get the whole thing smoothed! but only if u want 2!!???
