106 or vts performance with 100000 milies on the engine

   Have they lost alot of power by the time they get to this age/distance? Im looking to buy a 106 gti but all of the ones near me are 90000+ and im just wondering if there is much difference when they get that many miles? Also what kind of problems arise at that kind of age

   Depends how harshly the engine has been treated really. I'm not sure about the problems you can expect but again it will probably depend on how it's been driven.

   I would of thought that at least 10 % of the engines power will have gone but its a million dollar question as it depends on the the bhp was from the factory it could be less than 120 or it could of been more!!! also whats its service history like has it been well abused? maintained? theres so many possiblites that the only definate way of knowing would be to buy it, fit it then roling road it so that you could tell matey....
