Battery???

    hello,

    i want to change the battery on my 98 vtr, so far i've found a 44amp bosch battery for £36, is this the best battery for my car or is there anything else that is better? and if so how much and where from?

    44a ? You sure ? I just got a 380 cold cranking amp (standard is 300 i think)battery from Hellfrauds for £47.

    4 year warranty too............

    yeah go to halfords and ask for a heavy duty / heavy calcium battery they shud look it up for ya mate :O if u cant get there cos its far away or wateva ask me and i will go to work n look it up for ya mate

    Ur better tryin a motor factor than halfords b cheaper,the halfords in Scotland r pretty crap,a battery from my work 4 my 99vtr is bout £15 cheaper than halfords,

    i take it bosch isn't the best company for a battery?

    Bosch batterys are good, we order them in from suppliers for BIG vehicles , so must be pretty good!

    bosch should be excellent, i think halfords use a different system for measuring amps i.e. the cold amp cranking thing which is why it sounds so much

    Ampage hours is how we do it at halfords isnt it , on the batts, and cold crankage output..
