smooth mk2 bonnet opening

   people who have had there mk2 bonnet flushed how do you open it?
   whats the best method. popper/pins or other. could someone take some pic's of what they've got fitted an how you've done it. any help would be great.

   i think most ppl use pins as its the easyist i think, and dont see any other method

   pins i would say most people use for smoothed bonnets.

   I think there is a modification that brings the bonnet catch further down, so it can still be pressed.

   my mate doesnt use anything, just has to be carefull that he doesnt hit the bonnet open catch when moving, the catch through the grille doesnt do anything when the bonnet is locked shut.
