fitting a 4-2-1 to a mk 90bhp vtr

  1. #1
Ok, 2morro i am going to put my friends 4-2-1 manifold in on his mrk2 90bhp vtr, however im soo consfused with what to do. Im confused because i don't know whether i have to move th oil filter completely to a difference place and the lambda sensor, i can see one at the top, but am i right to think there's another wire at the bottom section? if so ...then do i just plug the bottom one in the manifold and the top one i tie away?

Can someone please give me a step by step guide on what to do with the oil filter.

secondly what i would need to buy to get this manifold in.

I would appreciate it if someone can go through the steps so i can print it off and follow it..

    thanks

(i know there's already post about how to fit the mani, but im shit when it comes to engines and i didn't quite catch on)

ok thankgod. I thought how can the oil filter at the bottom left get in the way of the mani.

and secondly, i plug the bottom lambda sensor at the bottom part of the manifold (where the hole is) and the top lambda sensor i just tie away? correct?

new gasket stops blowing, on my mk2 90bhp there was a lambda sensor going into the manifold, i dont think there was one in the cat

yea there's one going in on the right hand side of my manifold too, but the hole on the new manifold is at the bottom left...!

lambda sensor is flexable so it shouldnt really matter mate, wasnt a problem for me so dont spose it will be for u

that's where the filter is....will that have to be changed for the mani to go on?

if that is the block you are fitting the mani too then this will be fine its got the earlier oil filter.
