I Need To Know This!!

    I have a mk2 saxo vtr which is lowered by 60mm all round. now i need to settle this................can i fit 17" rims on it?

    no not really, would need alot of arch work and even raised abit, in my opinion. 16s max!

    you can yes, but its gonna need alot of work. down 60mm

    Simple answer is yes - if you are prepared to do some work and sacrifice your full lock.

    Search through my progress thread (just search for saxo180 progress) and you will see my car on 17s with a 50 mm drop and still room for more because I spent a lot of money and time getting it right!

    i was wonderin because the inside of the arches just seem to be plastic panels. i wasnt sure if it would need a lot of work if i ripped them out

    Need to remove the rear arches, most of the fronts,
    cut off rear bumper mounts and relocate them elsewhere,
    trim rear bumper and arches,
    washer bottle needs moving forward,
    horn needs moving

    they will fit bit as said above you will to do some work to the arches.

    mines been lowered 50mm and i got 16s on it once and it was god dam awful to drive...and it scrapped everywhere....dont do it mate

    tommy you obviously had the wrong profile wheels, because you can fit 16's with 40 profile wheel down 60 and its ok !
