ok, well have owned my mk1 r for a just over a year now, not much changed on it really but am now wanting to take it to the next level.

i really like the euro style but am now really liking the rally slag style.

what are peoples opinions on these two styles?
  2. #2
i like the rally slag style
  3. #3
rally slag, slam it, roll cage strip it, buckets.

    awesome
  4. #4
euro for me, if you have the money then get it done mate, it will cost a lot to get it right, take a look at chandlers car, gorgeous but a hell of a lot spent for the best work available on bodywork, interior retrimming etc
  5. #5
If you go euro your talkin thousands of quid and your not gonna get mmuch of it back.

Track slag your generally spending less and you can break it at the end and make a fair bit of money back

wicked opinions so far, keep them coming...

IMO Euro style only works well with MK2s not MK1s, so I'd go for the rally look

Yeah its the headlights, MK1s got a more aggressive look from the front which is perfect for the rally look
  15. #15
yes mk2 euro because you can smooth the bonnet, mk1 rally slag, it looks meaner

fair point, i do think the mk2 is girlier purely because of the headlights.

is their a much noticable difference with stripping the back out?

also, can anyone add to this list:

strip out rear seats and parcel shelf
add half a cage or possibly full one...not sure though

am stuck as to what else can be done?!

rally slag strip car down and put shit loads into the engine .

bigger brakes and uprated brake lines
    turbo or TB
    roll cage
lower it (full suspension i.e adjustable)
rally mud flaps (if they look right on the car that is)
    bucket seats
    oil pressure/temp,fuel mixture,vaccum,water temp guages
    full interior and doorcards out.
    omp or momo steering wheel
    snap off kit
    smaller fuel tank
    spare wheel out
    upper lower strut braces
carbon fibre bonnet (as long as you can drive and not put the car into a tree lol)
Maybe NOS or WAZ or WIZ cant remember the actual proper term lol
