What wrong with it????????

   My mums saxo's gearbox is screwed I think, Its sitting outside the house and everytime you go into reverse the car goes forward, also the gear stick is really loose and you cant tell what gear you are selecting.
   
   Any ideas whats wrong with it and is it expensive to fix?

   Sounds like the gear linkages, maybe one has broken or popped off. pretty simple to check. Have a look under the car from the back of the gear box normally 3 linkages going to centre of car at the back of the engine bay. Will try and see if I can find pics for you.
