power boost valve

    What do you guys no bout power boost valves? ive heard good & bad things bout them! would you on your sax!? if so why? do they make that much difference??

    i wouldnt have one. No point really unless you have some other reasonable engine mods. Even after that i would rather have the gmc fuel pressure regulator

    engine mods such as! ive got a bmc encl, zorst al way though.. running 110bhp want more! got cams commong soon, maniflod on order...

    better idea when you have the cam and manifold.

    how do you know your running 110? also what mods do/did you have when saying that?

    as per power enginerings rollers! 110bhp 110lbs/ft of torque... with 79k on the clock... spose its best to fit after all the works bin done!

    mods i had done, zorst all way through no cat! open pipercross filter.

    my mates st170 droped 40 from his bhp figure. loosing none was a good result. ive reset my ecu with the bmc so think im running bout 112 or there bouts you!?

    no idea mate never had it on a rolling road and im only running full magnex system with decat so really wouldnt be expecting much of it plans were for a vts but that has been put on hold for now at least

    mines 90bhp stnd, early mk2. I was tempted to no2 her wen i was at pe, they offerd me a little deal!!! but i thought better of it in the end! after i was pulled out of the place lol...(£1800 fully fitted direct inj sytem with 2full bottles, all tuned on there rollers. was the deal)

    yep! still thinking its an option.... cams r looking expensive at the mo! uping the fuel costs too! manifold is a definate will have in new year... with no2 u have a stupidly quick car when you want it! on tap so to speak. less £ on fuel but it is still £2k!!! Hmm they think no2 will get me 150bhp! any idea how much it is per bottle...lol

    must admit i think that price for the nitrous is very very very expensive

    cool cheers for link! that is tuned on there rollers tho! apparently its not usually the case they said... its usually put on the car set up & your off!

    did u say u had a mk 2 vtr ? cuz i was told by ABP motorsport that u cant put a power boost valve on a mk2 vtr ..

    yep mk2... what was there reason for not putting a power boost valve on the mk2.... do ABP motorsport specialize in citreon/peugeot.... im 100% sure you can!
