#9id be using an acid etch primer, then paint and then a good few coats of laquer
sand down the rocker well though before priming and leave the rocker a good week for the paint etc to harden
-
#10A WEEK lol how am i ment to drive lol.
Was going to leave it 3 days will that be enough?
mines bare metal now anyway -
#11tbh it will probablies be ok after 3 days, with my centre console etc i left them a good week as when i did the last set i left prints in after they were left a few days, paint and laquer needs a good week to fully harden, its up to you really, just a lot of work if you leave imprints on the paint

#12As Pred says, use an etch primer, its better on Al alloys.
-
#13sand before applying etch primer as pred said, paint then give spray a few coats of lacquer.
