quite right Scott,
The et or offset is the distance from the outer lip or the rim to th mounting face.
explanation:
a 16 x 6j wheel is 16" diamiter with a width of 6".In the uk the width of a wheel is mesured without a tyre on and is form the inner of the lip to the inner of the lip.
ET: if you stand the wheel up and look down on it you'll see the bit that is usualy covered by the tyre. now if you draw a line in the middle all the way arround 3" in from either side, this is the centre line. using your x-ray vision to look at a cross section, you'll notice that the bit that the bolts go through (mounting face)is not in line with your centre line, the gap between the centre line and the mounting face, mesured in mm, is the "et".
P.C.D: is the amount of bolts required to hold the wheel to the car by the gap in mm between the centre of opposing holes. for a vt saxo it is 4x108. meaning that if you look at the cars hub you'll see 4 bolt holes with a gap of 108mm between opposit holes(centre to centre).
Centre bore: this is the diamiter of the hole in the centre of the wheel. Again looking at the hub, you'll see in the middle where the nut is there's a lip arroud the hole, this lip needs to fit into the wheel to help hold it in place. for your saxo the centre bore is 65.1mm.
Hope this helps.
