#3get someone professionally i would to do it
-
#4the torsion bar on the rear is a pain in the ass if your cars a few years old
get someone else to do it -

#8I will second that it really isnt worth the hasstle you will need spring compressors for the front and if teh rear isnt set right you will get through tryes quicker as it wont be level.

#9My mates a mechanic and said he wouldnt touch it unless he's insured at work, just incase it fucks up...
as when they are a few years old they can seize... take it to a well known garage... no cheapy shit -
#10so how much am i looking at to get it lowerd?
-
#11Depends what sort of set up you want...?
Just springs is the cheapest option
or you can have a full kit with springs, dampers and all that jazz
or coilovers... -
#12i have a set of springs and at the weekend me and a mate are going to do it on his drive, we have lowered my last 2 cars both fair puntos with springs all around but with all the guides i have for the rear so we going to give it ago

#13i bought some springs the other week n the garage said it could cost anywhere from 70 - 110 quid to lower it, depending on how easy the torsion bar comes loose. is this about right?
