the carrier has to have a bit grinded on one edge to allow the bolt holes to lign up as it hits the strutt if not

    Will these ones fit Steve?

I have grinded the edge but they are a different shape from the gti6 ones, these are 307 HDi calipers.

i'm not sure about the 307 hdi ones never tried to fit any as iirc there the wrong offset & angle like the 406

oh shit! guy assured me they would fit!

Cheers for that Steve. How come a 283mm disc wouldn't actualy fit between the calipers though?

it fits between the caliper but the caliper is at an odd angle and hits the disk when its bolted to a saxo strut because of the angle the caliper mounts are and also the caliper piston comes out not flat towards the disk but at an angle

there is something wrong with the caliper if thats happening. the only problem with 406 discs is they need a smaller disc on a saxo than they are inteded to use. thats why 406 brembos use 283mm not 303mm.

I see. But when Soulless showed us the pic, they weren't installed. He simply couldn't put a 283mm disc in the caliper!

It could get in Toad, but it was scraping on both sides iirc..

    and the belly,
think this was down to the offset as the calliper was at perhaps the wrong angle?
