how much difference will this make in performance ?

    i was wandering how much of a difference all this will make for performance and bhp :

    ok i have atm an exhaust system cat to back and an air filter, but i shall be getting decat manifold polished head and cams should this help a lot ? or not that much of a difference ? thanks in advance

    yes it will mate, what cams are you getting?

    would see a better gain if you added a remap to that list aswell after you have done the rest of the mods

    i was told the ecu remaps itself the harder u drive the car ? or is that wrong

    Yeah mate thats bull shit you need to get the ecu remapped bud so that you get the full power from the mods that you have chosen mate.

    well i was getting decat manifold cams and polished head done at pug-performance and maybe an ecu remap at longlife

    If your buying all them parts mate make sure that you get a re-map you wont be dissapointed lol!!

    It will make a big difference if you get a re-map.What cams are you going to get?

    not sure on cams pug performance r doing em but i shall ask em
    which cams should i be having then if i decide to decat manifold polish head it ? i plan to go in one day have lowering decat and manifold done another day i plan to have polished head and cams and another day remap ecu is it worth a whole new ecu ? or to remap exciting one ? and is 708 cams best for my set up ? i dont think i will end up getting throttle bodies and turbo hehe i have a goal after i spend a bit on vts which is a skyline or evo not decided yet but it will be about 3 years so long way and saving to be done so what do ya reckon? also with the cams should i buy any other parts that r under the 500 mark ? like the pulley and such

    you dont need pulleys. ecu depends if you want bodied after. it nice to have a standolone but a remap of standard will do. id go 708s mate as there cheaper aswell. im sure pug performance will want to put pipers 285s on. then ask yourself do you want the headwork. would be nice but it isnt cheap

    whos doing the headwork? The gains are only as good as the person working on the head. There are but a handful of people I'd let touch one of my engines

    Cams I'd agree with the 708s over piper. Much better value

    In fact you'd find you'd save money by purchasing the parts yourself and finding someone reputable to fit it all.

    There is plenty of good advise on here

    tell us what your getting qoted aswell. williams will fit cams for 50 sniffs

    ok i was quoted 44 quid for decat 277 manifold and about 1.3k i think for the polished head and cams which is including labour and vat to the price

    Depends who you get to do it. You could easily loose power.
