Ecotek Valve??

    has anyone got a ecotek valve fitted??
    and are they worth getting coz im thinkin of gettin one for my vtr when i get it

    save your money..

    On a basic level they let unmetered are into the inlet which is a bad thing

    At best the lambda will pick up the difference in optimal mixture and adjust accordingly .. worst case it could make your engine run lean which is bad

    i agree with above comments, wouldn't touch one tbh.

    my mate wanted one, i told him not to , but he did and he reckons the car was worse with it on.

    have also read reviews where people have lost bhp, as much as 2-3bhp, which is alot considering a bmc may give you 5-6bhp.
