Fuel Gauge

   Hello
   
   wodnered if anyone else has been having this trouble (most likely)
   
   My fuel guage in my VTS is poor to say the least, i put a full tank in and watch the fuel drop nice and progressive at the top half of the guage, but from half full til empty seems to take about 10 miles.
   
   If i dont reset the trip counter everytime i fill up and keep an eye on it i can be shit out of petrol sometimes
   
   carrying a jerry can about is getting pretty old now.
   
   so is there a fuel tank sender or anything common which causes this fault? and how would i go about fixing it?

   lift up rear seat second black cap one closest to the passengers side, thats the fuel pump iirc lift out and have a fiddle.

   lol have a fiddle? well ive seen a fuel pump before, just wasnt sure if there are any senders for the guage?
   
   and where they would be located? anyone changed them before?
   
   anyone else with a dodgy guage, surely?

   there is a sender iirc, and it may be in the same location as the pump, but i have a feeling its underneath the car.
   
   not 100% tho.
