    Hey guys
    Im thinking of getting a new 4-2-1 manifold, straight throu exhaust and backbox. how much will this cost me roughly? and how much would it cost to get it fitted?

    Also would i need to get it remapped? i also have induction kit on aswel so is prob best to but want to know?

    you wouldnt need a remap for a mani, and exhaust system.

    about 260 for mani + 300 for straight through exhaust system (piper)

    £260 for the manifold??????

    more importantly why bother putting a 4 branch on a 1.4?

    You can get a Raceland manifold for about £150, the likes of Supersprint cost about £260.

    This will provide more power to the 1.4. Not a great deal but it will rev more freely. Not everyone wants or can afford a bigger engine so they mod a smaller engine car.

    for decent you are looking at about £250 for straight through and about £250 for a decent manifold

    so when you get a manifold you need remap how much is that cos i am getting manifold soon

    lol i jus thought someone sed you need a remap but they didnt, i was told tho when you put induction or exhaust you need to reset ya ecu is this correct

    nah you dont have to mate only once you have have cams and headwork done etc..

    you dont have to i always reset my ecu after putting engine/performance mods on, lets the ecu find it settings again. (can also get rid of rough idling) Different to remapping though
